About Robert

Rev. Dr. Robert L. Screen founded the 210 Traffic Safety Committee in July 2017. The Committee consists of a group of like-minded concerned citizens with the desire to bring lifesaving driver behavior and roadway safety improvements to Route 210 Indian Head Highway, Prince George’s County, Maryland.

The Committee is comprised of concerned community citizens, Prince George’s County Council members, Prince George’s County Police, Maryland State Police, Maryland State Highway Administration and numerous homeowner associations.

 

Rev. Dr. Robert L. Screen has always advocated for and practiced safe driving. In 2002, he was inducted into the United Parcel Service “Circle of Honor” for 25 straight years of Safe Driving. He led the UPS Safe Driving Committee until his retirement in 2007, following 30 years of safe driving.

 

Rev. Dr. Robert L. Screen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Howard University, Washington, DC, and a Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Biblical Studies.

He served as Volunteer Chaplain at the former Fort Washington Medical Center, Fort Washington, Maryland, providing support and pastoral care to patients, their families, friends, and hospital staff. As such, Rev. Dr. Screen experienced, firsthand, the shock, grief, and sadness at the loss of life of vehicle accident victim’s families at the sudden loss of life of their loved ones.
